Trunk or Treats In The DFW Area

Looking for safe/Covid friendly places to take your kiddos for Halloween?



We got a list of some trunk or treats events happening in the DFW area that follow CDC guidelines!


Candyland Drive Thru // Allen

Where: Church Eleven32; 700 Rivercrest Blvd.

When: Saturday, Oct. 24, 1–3pm

Cost: Free

Safety: While completely drive-thru, this event will be following CDC guidelines. They will provide sweet treats to visitors.


Saints Constantine and Helen Trunk or Treat // Carrollton

Where: Saints Constantine & Helen Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1225 E. Rosemeade Pkwy.

When: Saturday Oct. 31, 1–4pm

Cost: Free; $20 entry fee for cars with decorated trunks to pass out candy

Safety: This event will be socially distanced in the upper/back parking lot of the church. You must sign up for all family members attending in the group. There will be festival games with prizes and concessions stands; all will comply with CDC guidelines.

Hallowheels 2020 // Dallas

Where: 3500 West Northwest Highway Dallas, TX 75220

When: Sat, Oct 31, 2020, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM CDT

Cost: Free

Safety: We hope to make this year's event bigger and better, but also keep everyone safe and following the recommended CDC social distancing guidelines. In order to adhere to the guidelines, this event will be entirely drive-thru ONLY and everyone participating must wear a mask. No Walk-ups.


SVUMC Halloween Music Fest and Trunk-or-Treat // Dallas

Where: Spring Valley UMC; 7700 Spring Valley Road

When: Sunday, Oct. 31, 5:30–7:30p

Cost: Free

Safety: Your family can choose to walk-up or drive-thru. Bags of treats will be distributed in a drive-by parade, with candy also distributed to walk-up attendees.

Drive- Thru Trunk-or-Treat // Denton

Where: St. David of Wales Episcopal Church; 623 Ector St.

When: Friday, Oct. 30, 6–8pm

Cost: Free

Safety: Attendees will stay in their vehicles and drive slowly through the link of trunks (with candy given out along the way).

Trick A Trunk Treats // Denton

Where: Fred Moor Park; 701 Wilson St., Denton

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 8–9pm

Cost: Free

Safety: This event is drive-thru only and social distancing compliant.

Halloween in the Park // Farmers Branch

Where: Metro Square Business Park; 12300 Ford Road

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 6–9pm

Cost: Free

Safety: The Tour of Flights will be drive-thru only this year to keep social distancing and public safety in mind. There will be no walk-throughs. Children in costume will get a prepackaged trick or treat bag while supplies last. Props/toys perceived as weapons are not permitted.

Drive-thru Trunk or Treat // Fort Worth

Where: Victory Forest Community Center, 3427 Hemphill St.

When: Friday, Oct. 30, 6–8pm

Cost: Free

Safety: This event is drive-thru only. Goodie bags with prewrapped candy will be handed out while wearing gloves and masks.

Drive-thru Trick or Treat // Frisco

Where: IM=X Pilates and Fitness 5353 Independence Parkway Frisco, TX 75035

When: Sat, October 31, 2020 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM CDT

Cost: Free

Safety: We will all be handing out wrapped candy and gathering names for awesome raffle prizes. Social distancing will be maintained and your safety is a top priority!!


Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat // Frisco

Where: Kingdomlife Church, 12330 Rolater Rd.

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 4–9pm

Cost: Free

Halloween Shine Style //Grapevine

Where: House of Shine 334 S. Barton Street Grapevine, TX 76051

Refreshing Spring Fall Harvest Festival // Lancaster

Where: 1308 Rogers Avenue Lancaster, TX 75134

When: Sat, October 31, 2020 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM CDT

Cost: Free

Safety: The event is safe and fun alternative to trick-or-treating in the streets by offering a fun and car drive-thru Trunk-or-Treat and Movie Night in the church parking lots.


Trunk or Treat // Lewisville

Where: Lakeland Baptist Church, 397 South Stemmons Freeway

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 2–4:30pm

Cost: Free

Safety: Families will be able to trunk or treat from vehicles. Each game will be outside and have COVID precautions. Volunteers will be wearing a mask; guests are encouraged to but it is not required.

Drive-Thru Trunk-or-Treat // Lewisville

Where: Vista Ridge United Methodist Church; 2901 Denton Tap Road

When: Sunday, Oct. 25, 4:30–6pm

Cost: Free

Safety: This event is drive-thru where cars can socially distance and drive through a parking lot of Halloween decorated cars. Social distancing is encouraged.

Trunk or Treat // McKinney

Where: One Cause Church, 5088 Baxter Well Rd.

When: Saturday, Oct. 24, 4–6pm

Cost: Free

Safety: The event is outside. Anyone passing out candy will be wearing gloves and a mask.

McKinney Fall Festival // McKinney

Where: 7650 Stacy Rd.

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 1–3pm

Cost: Free

Safety: They will be limiting the number of attendants. All vendors will have a sanitizing station.

Trunk or Treat! // Plano

Where: MedcoER & Urgent Care; 3960 Legacy Dr.

When: Sat. Oct. 31, 5–7pm

Cost: Free

Safety: Attendees will enjoy a non-contact way to trick or treat without leaving their car in this drive-thru event.

Sonoma Verde Trunk or Treat // Rockwall

Where: 1506 Bertino Way Rockwall, TX 75032

When: Sat, October 31, 2020 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM CDT

Cost: Free

Safety: No Safety precautions have been listed


Trunk or Treat at Dallas ReStores // Dallas + Garland

Where: All four ReStores locations

When: Sat. Oct. 31, 3–5pm

Cost: Free

Safety: There will be candy for the kiddos (distributed safely) and socially distanced trick-or-treating.
